Products
With the products on this site I hope to help diy builders to build their own audio equipment. Therefore I make PCBs, kits, cables, connectors and electronic components available. PCBs have been designed by me and normally I have made a prototype to verify that they actually work. Other components (semiconductors, etc) are bought directly from a manufacturer or reseller. These products are therefore brand new, unused, and in the condition in which they left the factory.
Ordering
Ordering should be easy, select your products from the webshop on the right of your screen and place them in the shopping cart. The total amount and weight will be visible. Different categories are used to make finding products easier, also the search button below the categories should help to quickly find the product you are looking for. After checkout, you will receive a confirmation email with the order information.
Prices and Taxes
Prices shown (if you are not logged in) are VAT-included, which is clearly shown. When you login VAT will be automatically computed:
- For EU customers 21% VAT will be added to the order.
- For Non-EU customers 0% VAT will be charged, but your customs office might charge import duties and/or VAT to you. Your order will have a green CN-22 note attached to it, stating the nature of the goods (e.g. electronic components or electronic kits) and the total price.
- EU companies, outside the Netherlands, with a valid EU VAT-id: 0% VAT will be charged, but make sure that you enter your VAT-id in your account settings as I have to check this number.
Shipping and handling
The shipping and handling fee depends on the destination (NL, EU, World) and weight. The exact amount will automatically be shown during checkout. Your order will be shipped as soon as I have confirmed that the payment has been received. I send packages using normal mail (not insured, no tracking info). Estimated shipping time may vary from one day (The Netherlands) to several days (Europe) or even weeks (World). You will be notified once an order has been shipped.
Payment
Currently, three payment methods can be used:
- Bank transfer. Within the EU, bank transfer is the cheapest and therefore preferred method. You will receive my IBAN and BIC/SWIFT details when you place the order.
- iDEAL, which is a NL payment service and can therefore only be used if you have a NL bank account.
- Paypal allows to pay using various creditcards, but is expensive and therefore an extra fee is added to the order.
Cancelling / Return policy
Once an order has not been shipped yet, you may cancel it and I will transfer the money back to you. Once an order has been shipped to you, you are legally allowed to return it within 7 days. Custom-made products and special products are excluded from the right of returning. If you wish to return a product, always first request a return form by email, which needs to be filled in. Send this form together with the returned products and a copy of the invoice to the address on the return form and I will transfer your money back to you within 14 days. Please note that returned products, which are not properly packed or are sent without proper shipment costs will not be accepted.
